Miraflora Wagyu is a luxury Wagyu beef producer, recognized for the exceptional quality of its products. They approached Apptension with a clear goal: a Shopify store that reflects the brand’s premium identity while providing a seamless e-commerce experience. The timeline was tight - just a few weeks from kickoff to launch.
Time was our first hurdle. The client’s team was spread across multiple time zones, and we ended up with a team dispersed from Hawaii to Germany, which made synchronous feedback difficult. Initially, communication was limited to asynchronous Slack messages and the sharing of progress updates.
Thanks to the clear action points and high sense of ownership of the production team, we maintain a smooth collaboration at a high pace with no sacrifice in the transparency of our work. Adding to the challenge, we needed to balance speed with precision, ensuring the store met high-end standards while delivering on time. Therefore, our development team, in close collaboration with designers, leveraged the possibilities of Shopify templates to build a fully manageable e-shop with an admin panel, where administrators can easily add new products, create product bundles, and launch special promotions to address market needs in no time.

With a lot of emphasis put on excellent Project Management, tracking deliverables and timelines meticulously, we were able to translate the Miraflora brand into modern, elegant designs, customize the Shopify templates, and ensure every element was tested across devices. We tackled time zone challenges with asynchronous workflows and regular check-ins.
Wireframes and desktop designs were delivered first, followed by mobile views. Continuous monitoring and proactive follow-ups ensured nothing fell behind schedule. Beyond visuals, we focused on functionality.
